It was the quintessential spring break photo from the quintessential spring break.
I was 18, a cheerleader, a gymnast, and a softball player. I had no respect for food because I didn’t have to. I could eat what I wanted, when I wanted and still dominate the beaches of Cancun.
But I guess all spring breaks must come to an end. Eventually those bad eating habits caught up with me. I became a wife, a mother and with every new phase of my life, I spent less and less time caring for myself.
Finally, nearly 20 years after that photo on the sunny beach in Mexico, I decided enough was enough. I was tired of feeling tired. Tired of being uncomfortable in clothes that were too tight but refusing to buy the size I actually was. I was tired of feeling less-than and done with my kids being raised by a mother with such a poor body image.
I started Clean Burn & Shape and was shocked by how easy it actually was. For all of the years I’ve been making excuses for why I wasn’t the weight I wanted to be… who knew that with a little extra planning, this on-the-go-mom-of-three could get her groove back! I feel SO much better than I did 25 pounds ago and am excited to help others feel the same!
Even though I am no longer a high school cheerleader, gymnast or softball star… I know that the next time I step out onto the beaches of Cancun in my bikini, someone better have a camera because that will be a photo I’ll be proud to take!
Results vary. Clients on the Clean, Burn and Shape Program can expect to lose 2.5 – 5.4 lbs during the first 10 days and 1.3 – 3.3 lbs per week for the remaining 90 days of the program.
